Industrial Fencing
Plant security and access have been high priority issues of industrial businesses for years. Plant facilities’ managers need a company they can trust to handle their fencing, guardrail or access control issues. That’s why thousands of companies have relied on Nationwide to meet their demands for timely, professional service.
Emergency repair? We have emergency crews available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
School Fencing
Tight schedules, rigid specifications, unique safety precautions and trade coordination are some of the issues common to any school fencing project. Because of Nationwide’s experience, we are adept at handling these and many other issues we confront when working on school projects.
Nationwide’s work on hundreds of school projects has included temporary fencing, track fencing, football stadium fencing, baseball and softball field fencing, field construction, soccer fields, and bleacher construction.
Some of our recently completed projects were for school districts in Detroit, Troy, Manchester, Grand Blanc, and Chelsea, among others. We have also completed projects at the University of Michigan, Michigan State University, University of Detroit Mercy and other Michigan colleges.
Guard Rail
Our crews with their advanced equipment will professionally and timely complete any guardrail project. We have performed millions of dollars of work for State Departments of Transportation, County Road Commissions, Municipalities, and the Big Three automotive companies. Based in southeast Michigan, we routinely travel to all parts of the State and across the United States.
Nationwide has one of the most respected guardrail divisions in the country. Our experienced project management staff routinely consults with Municipal, County and State Road Departments to provide input for upcoming guardrail projects. Varying jobsite conditions, expedited schedules, public safety, traffic control and coordination with other trades require that guardrail crews be properly trained and experienced to complete projects on time and on budget.
Cable Guard Rail
One of the more innovative products recently introduced to increase highway safety is the cable guardrail system. Also known as wire rope safety fence or cable barrier, this product has saved hundreds if not thousands of lives from potential highway crossover accidents. This product has been used in Europe for years but has only been recently introduced in the United States.
Still, Nationwide has already installed over one half-million linear feet of 3-strand and 4-strand cable guardrail in Illinois, Indiana, Missouri, Georgia, Oklahoma and Arkansas. As more State Departments of Transportation implement these systems, Nationwide will be a contractor of choice for installation.
Specialty
Nationwide’s experienced staff of estimators and project managers routinely coordinate projects from simple chain link installations to the most detailed and complicated spec projects. We have performed installations at industrial facilities, governmental institutions, schools, airports, military bases and prisons. We also perform extensive guardrail and fence projects on roads and highways for State and County Road Authorities.
We currently hold Department of Transportation pre-qualification in seventeen states with ratings in excess of $40,000,000 for fence, guardrail, landscaping, clearing and grubbing and attenuators.
